Want to step our note cards up? (part 2 of 3)

There are two things that can add some lovely details to your card and make it a bit more elegant.

First, take a piece of DSP that will match the Polished Pink cardstock.  I used one of the sheets from the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Color 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the Polished Pink.

Glue the envelope flap and place the DSP on to the glued flap, lining up the corners together.  Press flat.

Hint:  I use a paper trimmer, score board, or my Stamparatus to line up the corners easily.  Place the envelope into the corner of the device used and then lay the DSP paper on top, pushing both into the corner.  The alignment will be perfect every time.

Once you’ve let the glue dry, flip the envelope over and carefully cut the excess paper away with scissors.

Cut a ½” strip of DSP from the remaining sheet and adhere to the inside of the card along the bottom edge. I took the sentiment from the Stampin’ UP! Inspired Thoughts stamp set.

The Polished Pink theme starts on the front of the card and is repeated in the card and on the envelope.  It’s a nice look!

See the supply list below for details if you want any of the items that I used.
