Wouldn’t these cards be a great gift? (part 3 of 3)

If you like the note card that we made earlier in the week, think about how nice several of them would be as a gift for friends, family members, teachers, coworkers, neighbors.  I have even used them for fund raising activities benefiting my kids’ schools and for one of our local long-term care facilities! (Their residents loved them – and that is a great way to put a smile on your face!)

If you have a little bit of time or even a bit of time here and there, break the project down in steps – cutting the cardstock, stamping the tags, doing the assembly.  Take small steps that you can accomplish whenever you have some moments.  Assembly will be easier and quicker with all of the pieces ready to go, and you’ll have a set of cards in no time!

And choose several colors that you like.

I chose one sheet of each color from the Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Color cardstock pack that I used to make the original Polished Pink card.  These 5 pieces allowed me to cut 20 mats all at once.

I usually match the cards with the Stampin’ Up! Basic White Medium Envelopes (which you can also decorate if you’re THAT ambitious) and I combine a few cards in a finished package.

Stampin’ Up offers acetate boxes that are a great finishing touch for your gift.  (I had a lot of trouble finding these on the internet years ago when I first started making notecards. SU! offers boxes that are the perfect size and are an excellent value, in my opinion – plus there is the convenience of ordering from one place.)

I found that 5 cards and envelopes fit into the gift boxes. Add a bow and you’ve got a beautiful gift.

Choose your recipient’s favorite color – or something seasonal – or a rainbow of colors (as I did from the Stampin’ Up 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP series). Wrap them or just tie a ribbon around them for an awesome, quick gift – a beautiful handmade gift that tells your recipient how much they mean to you!

I make these up periodically for my friend, Ro, who is an amazing note writer.  When the box is empty, I “repossess” it for a refill!

I am attaching a “shopping list” below. It contains everything that I used. But please remember that you don’t have to have every one of these products. You can use black ink for the stamping instead of using all of the ink pads in the 2021-2023 In Color group. You can also use the seam binding in its original white if you don’t want to order all of the 2021-2023 Stampin’ Blends to die it. (I think that both of these options would be beautiful cards.)
